I have no security coverage at this time. I find it amazing that Brinks won't have a technician here to fix a a clearly defective installation issue. After 4 hours on the phone and Brinks hanging up 4 times, I decided to write this review.

I said unacceptable, I have no security coverage at all. I called technical support, was told it would be three weeks before they could get someone out, then it was two weeks then they said the best they could do was one week. But 6 hours after he left the panel was dead, no power at all.

Installer installed the one IQ4 panel, set up the rest of the equipment, except for 3 cameras because he didn't bring enough wire! Since he had to come back to install the other panel I was OK with that. I called sales and they indicated they would ship out an additional IQ4 panel. When delivered I received 1 IQ4 panel and one accessory panel. I confirmed with sales 3 times that I wanted and would get two IQ4 panels, which is what the sales price was based on. With Brinks, you have to call in for quotes. You can hop onto the SimpliSafe website and check prices, choose your equipment, and even sign up for monitoring plans.

SimpliSafe offers simple shopping and price transparency.

SimpliSafe can connect to Alexa or Google Home for smart home automations, but you’ll need third-party products like smartbulbs, plugs, or hubs. Both home security systems are compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home *, but only Brinks offers proprietary Z-Wave products that turn normal appliances into smart devices.
